Model DP-36-LP This Custom DP-36-LP is a portable low profile version of the DP- 36 that is only 88 5/8" high to the top of the hydraulic cylinder on optional casters. It was recently shipped to a client in Alaska for installation in a very remote area. This baler is designed to bale cardboard, plastic, and aluminum cans and has the capability to crush 55 gallon steel drums. This particular unit is equipped with a side mounted power unit, optional casters for ease of moving it around, and a optional top mounted dereeler for use with coils of polyester banding - these photos do not show the dereeler option as it was removed for shipping. This unit is also equipped with optional front feed wire guides ( narrow canisters on the back side of the baler - see photo IMG 0729 ) which is used to re-direct the wire bale ties for tying off the bales quickly . The new and improved DP-36 is now a Combination Baler & Drum Crusher for baling cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminum & steel cans, etc. and for crushing 55 gallon steel & fiber drums. Designed so that the press plate and cylinder can be easily lowered and the side mounted power unit easily removed for shipping (it is "bolted on" ). In addition, these units can be easily moved into stockrooms, through hallways / doorways, and into elevators where other suitable waste and recycling equipment may be too large to access those areas. Getting this equipment in position where you can "Compact at the Source" is a labor and cost saving benefit.
